Venice

November 2019

We’ve been to beautiful Venice twice now,

Our first time there in November 2019 and we absolutely fell in love with Italy, (we look alot younger there)..

We stayed in Mestre and bussed into Venice each day—easy, affordable, and a great way to ease into the magic.

We wandered miles through quiet streets getting lost. We drank huge beers and ate amazing pizza. We rode the vaporetto out to Murano and Burano—glass, lace, colour, and calm.

And then there was high tide.
We sat in St Mark’s Square in our welly boots, surrounded by water, having tea and scones totally unbothered—just soaking it all in.

That moment sealed it!

We fell in love with Venice right there. and we couldn’t wait to go back to see more of Italy
