✨ Review: Under Flickering Light

In May this year for our Anniversary, we stepped into a world where music, memory, and candlelight collided — and it was unforgettable.
The venue glowed with hundreds of tiny flames, flickering gently across rows of seats.
From the first familiar notes of Dancing Queen to the final crescendo of Bohemian Rhapsody, it felt like we were floating somewhere between nostalgia and magic.
🎻 The string quartet didn’t just play the songs — they interpreted them. Every pluck and bow brought new life to melodies we already knew by heart.
Queen’s drama and flair met ABBA’s joyful rhythm in a way that gave us goosebumps more than once.
💛 Mamma Mia had us tapping toes.
💔 Who Wants to Live Forever silenced the whole room.
👑 Somebody to Love? Pure chills.
And yet, it wasn’t loud. It wasn’t flashy. It was tender. Intimate. Something about all that music wrapped in candlelight made you feel everything a little deeper.
🌙 Final thoughts:
If you ever get the chance to go to a Candlelight Concert, especially one blending two iconic bands like ABBA and Queen — take it.
It’s the kind of night you carry with you quietly, like a hum in your chest long after the candles go out.
Can’t wait until our Christmas Concert now…
