Bucket List Moment: Seaplane Over Loch Lomond
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Flying in a seaplane from Cameron House had been on our bucket list for years — and in November 2023, we finally ticked it off as a 50th birthday treat.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day: crisp autumn air, blue skies, and bright sunshine that lit up the loch and surrounding landscape in the most breathtaking way.

The whole experience felt seamless and special.

From the moment we arrived at Cameron House, everything was well organised and professionally run.

The takeoff from the water was smooth yet exhilarating, and once we were in the air, it was pure magic.

The views over Loch Lomond, the Highlands, and beyond were absolutely stunning — even more dramatic with the late autumn colours and snow-dusted peaks in the distance.

The pilot was friendly and informative, sharing little bits of local history and geography as we flew.

But honestly, we were speechless for most of it — just soaking in the scenery and the surreal feeling of floating above one of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes.

It was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of experience that absolutely lived up to the dream.
