A refreshing summer sip with homegrown mint
Cheers!!

There’s something extra special about using ingredients you’ve grown yourself.
This easy mojito recipe is perfect for slow evenings on the deck, made even better with fresh mint snipped straight from the herb garden.
🌿 Ingredients (for 1 mojito):
- 8–10 fresh mint leaves (preferably from your garden!)
- 2 tsp white sugar (or 15ml simple syrup)
- 1 lime (cut into wedges)
- 50ml white rum
- Soda water (to top up)
- Ice (crushed or cubes)
🥄 Method:
- Muddle the mint & lime: In a sturdy glass, muddle the mint leaves and lime wedges with the sugar. This releases the oils and juices — and the smell is amazing.
- Add rum: Pour in the white rum and give it a gentle stir.
- Ice it up: Fill the glass with ice.
- Top with soda: Add soda water to your liking and stir again.
- Garnish: Add a mint sprig or a lime wheel for that finishing touch.
🪴 Serve with bare feet on warm decking and a playlist full of summer vibes.
