Learning Italian is one of the ways I’m getting closer to our future life in Italy. Here are a few of the greetings I’ve been using daily — because sometimes, just saying “Ciao!” is enough to bring a little sunshine into your day 🌞

- Salve – Hello (polite but friendly) – (pronounced SAHL-veh)
- Arrivederci – Goodbye – (pronounced ah-ree-veh-DEHR-chee)
- A presto! – See you soon! – (pronounced ah PRESS-toh)
- A domani – See you tomorrow – (pronounced ah doh-MAH-nee)
- Piacere di conoscerti! – Nice to meet you – (pronounced pya-CHEH-reh dee ko-NO-sher-tee)

- Buongiorno – Good morning / Good day – (pronounced bwon-JORE-no)
- Buon pomeriggio – Good afternoon -(pronounced bwon po-meh-REE-jo)
